Coach Marisa Sanchez-Bennett
Coach Marisa began her professional career over 25 years ago as a part of the Professional Skaters Association's Apprenticeship program. For 5 years, she commuted back-and-forth between the Bay Area and Central Valley, studying a PSA Master Coach while simultaneously teaching her own students and obtaining her associate degree in liberal studies in Fresno, CA. Marisa also served as Skating Director for over 10 years at Fresno's ice rink, has overseen the Figure Skating program at Hanford Winter Wonderland for the past 3 seasons and has gone on to teach at several rinks within the US. In addition to being a skating coach, Marisa also coaches Aerial Arts and has immensely enjoyed working with competitive and recreational skaters of all ages and walks of life. Coach Cheyenne Taylor
Coach Cheyenne began ice skating at age two and competed thereafter in single ladies figure skating and with Los Angeles Ice Theater until age seventeen. In this period of time, she tested all the way up to the highest level senior moves in the field and free skating. In her competition career, she has accomplished qualifying and competing in US Junior Nationals and Nationals. She grew up working with renowned figure skating coaches all over Southern California and at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Furthermore, she is certified in Learn to Skate/ SafeSport and has dedicated herself to coaching consistently for the past decade. The best part is that Coach Cheyenne is still able to do most skating tricks to demonstrate for her students! Coach Cheyenne works with skaters of all ages and levels.
