Coach Sarajoy Cloud
Coach Sarajoy Cloud is a competitive and recreational figure skating coach based in Bakersfield, CA at Valley Children’s Ice Center. She has 17 years of solo skating experience in competition and testing with both ISI and USFS skating. She has 2 years in pairs experience with show skating skills, pair lifts and spins. Sarajoy is an American Ice Theater Certified Choreographer, which really focuses on movement on the ice. She has a background in personal training with her PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist) certification for sports performance training through NASM. 12 years of coaching experience has given Sarajoy the opportunity to work with skaters of all ages and levels. Her focus and goal is to meet the skater where they are at and understands that everyone learns at a different pace. She teaches skills in multiple ways to help the skater grow into reaching their recreational or competitive goals. Here favorite thing about skating is the choreography and the way you can tell a story on the ice with movement. She has a passion for skating and still continues to grow in the sport even as a coach while also having a passion in helping each of her students thrive and succeed in what their goals in the sport are. Coach Marisa Sanchez-Bennett
Coach Marisa began her professional career over 25 years ago as a part of the Professional Skaters Association's Apprenticeship program. For 5 years, she commuted back-and-forth between the Bay Area and Central Valley, studying a PSA Master Coach while simultaneously teaching her own students and obtaining her associate degree in liberal studies in Fresno, CA. Marisa also served as Skating Director for over 10 years at Fresno's ice rink, has overseen the Figure Skating program at Hanford Winter Wonderland for the past 3 seasons and has gone on to teach at several rinks within the US. In addition to being a skating coach, Marisa also coaches Aerial Arts and has immensely enjoyed working with competitive and recreational skaters of all ages and walks of life.
