LEARN TO SKATE ACADEMY

Thank you for expressing interest in our Skate Academy!
The Skate Academy is an 8-week program. There are two sessions that are held each Saturday and last 30 minutes each. The first session starts at 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM and the second is 12:15 PM - 12:45 PM.
The Skate Academy program includes figure and hockey skate rentals for each session and free admittance for the skater to the public skate session following Academy. Please bring socks, warm clothing and any other desired extra PPE.

Our academy welcomes skaters of ALL ages, from Beginner Tots to Adults. Each skater will be evaluated to determine their skill level and what group they will be in.

No experience is required.
This is a great opportunity to learn basic skating skills and get comfortable being on the ice. Whether you're interested in competitive figure skating and participating in Showcases, joining a hockey team or just wanting to skate recreationally; our Academy will help you build the skills to get started. Our BBFSC coaches will be working with each group to develop those skills and if you or your skater is interested in private lessons, then this is a great opportunity to get to know each coach and find the right fit for you and/or your skater.
