GENERAL INFORMATION
Freestyle ice fees
Non-Member Rate - $25.00 per Hour
Member Rate - $15.00 per Hour
Skaters will be charged in 15 minute increments rounded up to the nearest ¼ hour.

We do our best to keep accurate time, to ensure accuracy check in when getting on and off the ice. Please review your invoices for accuracy.
All Ice session fees are to be paid directly to the BBFSC. We accept Cash, Zelle, and are able to process payments through a card reader.
If you prefer to receive a monthly invoice, please let us know.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons consist of a lesson with one skater and one coach. Lesson fees are paid directly to the coach. Coaches will let you know what forms of payment they accept. If the lesson takes place during freestyle ice, you are responsible for paying freestyle ice fees to BBFSC, and coaching fees directly to your coach. If your lesson takes place during public session, you must purchase directly from the front desk of Valley Children's Ice Center.
GROUP LESSONS
Group lessons consist of a lesson with one coach and other students with similar skill level. The coach that is running the group lesson will determine if a skater’s skill level is appropriate for admittance to the lesson. Group lesson fees are paid directly to the coach and are also separate from freestyle ice fees.

CLUB MEMBER ROOM
Club membership includes access to the club skate room. The club skate room is for skaters, coaches, and their skate equipment. All non-members are to use the rink’s warm room while waiting for their skater’s session to end. Any board member can give you the access code to the club room. Please do not give this code out.
Showcases & events
Members will have the opportunity to participate and show off their skills to friends and family in our showcases we put on throughout the year. This is a great introduction to the world of competitive and performative figure skating.

Members are also offered discounts on entry fees to our showcases.

There are various other discounts involved with group outings, such as Disney on Ice.

BBFSC is dedicated to being involved in the community which presents opportunities like performing during intermission at the Bakersfield Condor's largest game of the year, Teddy Bear Toss!
